School Uniform

School Uniform

Uniform is worn at Bradford Moor to develop a sense of pride in being a member school community. The uniform is intended to be smart, practical and economical. Please label all uniform and coats with your child’s name to avoid any confusion in the cloakroom or when changing for PE.

All children from Reception to Year 6

Royal blue jumpers or cardigan

Grey / black long trousers

Grey /black skirt, pinafore dress, or shalwar chemise in royal blue plain design

White shirt

Girls may wear a scarf if they wish of black or royal blue which should be secured with a clip.

School book bags with the logo are available from the office

Pumps are required at all times as the school is carpeted. They must be named and a pump bag provided, these are available from Natasha’s in Bradford.

It can get very cold in the playground and we encourage parents to send children with a coat.

Clothing for PE

White T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and shorts in black need to be provided by parents to fully benefit safely from PE lessons.

We request that patterns are not shaved into the head as this can distract children and others from their learning.

Jewellery must not be worn to school. If your child has pierced ears, small studs are permitted, however these must be removed by the child for PE. Children who wear watches must take full responsibility for them.

Personal belongings

Children should not bring valuable personal items to school as losses or damage can be very upsetting and staff cannot be held responsible for them. Children are expected to take responsibility for their own school equipment, which must be named if at all possible.
